Optimal nourishment can raise national productivity levels by:

The World Health Organization

What we eat during our time at work can contribute to much of our daily intake and therefore can really impact our health, wellbeing and even our productivity – afternoon slumps anyone?! How we eat at work is equally important – eating in a rush, being short on time and eating whilst working at our desks impacts what we choose to eat and how we digest it!

Unbalanced diets, stress, poor sleep, low energy and low mood are commonplace complaints in the workplace. Whilst eating well is not a cure all, studies have shown that workplace wellbeing packages can improve productivity and reduce sickness levels.

The World Health Organization has found that optimal nourishment can raise national productivity levels by 20%. Healthy employees are happier, calmer, more engaged, sleep better and get sick less often.

Having worked as Head of Operations for a leading property company for 10 years, prior to retraining as a nutritionist, I fully understand the impact that sickness and reduced productivity can have on a company. I also know that implementing additional policies and employee wellness schemes can seem overwhelming when you’re short on time. Which is again why I will work closely with you to ensure any workplace nutrition scheme will actually work for you and your teams.

What people choose to do with their own health and body is ultimately their choice but if we work together with you and your employees there are many opportunities to help educate and influence behavior to promote greater wellbeing.
